Successful people continually put the pressure on themselves to perform at high levels. Unsuccessful people have to be instructed and supervised and pressured by others.
- Brian Tracy, Eat that Frog
It's a straightforward point - the most successful people are self-motivating (or find ways to force themselves to be so). Evaluate your own attitude honestly by asking reflective questions. Am I looking for ways to constantly improve? Am I working not just to meet expectations (my own and those of others), but exceed them? If not, why not? What is missing?
